E-commerce manager (m/f/d) with Shopify experience

Introduction

PetRhein GmbH is an innovative company in the pet supplies sector. We distribute
smart products for cats and dogs that enrich the lives of pets and their owners.

Goal: You take our Shopify and marketplace performance to the next level.

Your Tasks

Content Management: Responsible for maintaining and updating our website and e-commerce platforms, including setting up and optimizing product content and descriptions to ensure an appealing presentation.
Advertising Campaigns: Planning and executing Google and Meta Ads campaigns on our website and marketplaces; analyzing metrics such as conversion rates, click rates, and ROI to increase brand awareness and sales success.
SEO Optimization: Improving product content and keywords to increase search engine ranking and visibility in search results.
Marketing Activities: Planning and monitoring email marketing campaigns (MailChimp) and promotions; developing precise positioning and marketing strategies based on data analysis and market research.
Conversion Optimization: Optimizing product pages to improve the shopping experience and increase sales.
Customer Service & System: Processing customer orders, answering inquiries, and handling returns and exchanges to ensure high customer satisfaction.
ERP Connections: Database maintenance and optimization of our ERP system (weclapp) for automated order processing and synchronization with our marketplaces and shops.
Data Analysis: Regular summarization, analysis, and reporting of sales data to identify market trends and competitive developments; using this information as a basis for marketing strategies and business decisions.

Your Profile

Completed studies in business administration, marketing, e-commerce, or a comparable qualification.
Professional experience in e-commerce, ideally with sound knowledge of Shopify, Otto, Kaufland, Mirakl, etc.
Experience in planning and executing online advertising campaigns, especially with Google & Meta Ads.
Solid knowledge in SEO and content management.
Analytical thinking skills and experience with web analysis tools.
Strong communication skills and customer orientation.
Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style.
High initiative, creativity, and an eye for detail, motivation to shape, implement own ideas, leadership potential, and hands-on mentality
Very good German and English skills
Openness to new cultures and working methods
Plus: Affinity for dogs or cats
