Manager Finance and Accounting (m/f/d)

Introduction

PetRhein GmbH is an innovative company in the pet supplies sector. We distribute
smart products for cats and dogs that enrich the lives of pets and their owners.

Objective of the Position

You are responsible for the accounting of the group, including the three holding companies. In addition to setting up and structuring the department, preparing the individual financial statements and the consolidated financial statements are among your important tasks.

Your Tasks

  • Timely preparation of monthly financial statements as well as in particular the annual financial statement and the management report (including tax declaration)
  • Contact person for auditors, tax consultants, and company auditors
  • Correct accounting handling of all business transactions ensuring financing and liquidity
  • Invoice verification/account clarification as well as bank postings
  • Support your employees in the operational daily business
  • Further development and digitization of department-related business processes
  • Financial control and support of the subsidiaries to ensure consistent and accurate financial reports.
  • Expansion and analysis of the existing structure regarding the automation of processes. 

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed a degree in economics or a comparable qualification and can demonstrate several years of professional experience in accounting
  • You have very good user knowledge of common systems
  • Communication with top management is not foreign to you
  • High analytical and conceptual thinking characterizes you
  • Motivation to shape, implement your own ideas, leadership potential, and hands-on mentality
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Openness to new cultures and ways of working
  • Plus: Affinity for dogs or cats
